Whilst there are multiple ways in which you are able to search contacts in your database, below is a step-by-step guide on how to search via the Find Contact.

Step by step

1. Go to Contacts > Find Contacts

2. Select the search criteria based on the contacts you would like to populate

3. Once you have completed the required criteria, click on Search 

4. This should then populate all contacts via the criteria defined, where you view the contact name, company, details (email & contact number), marketing contact(s), and the last update

 


Additional information

The criteria can be defined across multiple fields, depending on what contacts you would like to populate. These fields include:

  • Contact Type - Person, Company, or Creditor/Supplier
  • Name - First name, Surname, or Contact ID
  • Company Name
  • Contact Number or Email
  • Residency - This is the set state within the residency details under the address details section of the contact card
  • Contact Catagory

We also provide the option to allow each contact to open in a new window or to include archived contacts in the search via the below tickboxes:

Once you have brought up your contact search, we then provide the below options: 

  • You can refine the entry output amount to 25, 50, or 100 contacts per page, via the drop-down in the top left-hand corner
  • Using the search bar, you can search for a particular contact via their name, company, or details (contact number & email)
  • If you would like to view/edit the a contacts details, you can simply click on Edit or on the desired contact
